I have the best lemon cookie recipe you've ever had - I should make you some!
I'm grateful for my guardian angel, my mamma, who watches over me daily.
CANCER SUCKS!! "Doubt Not, Fear Not" - that's my motto
I ran 13.1 miles twice - what was I thinking? at least I got a medal!
Nothing Bundt Cake is my weakness, White Chocolate Raspberry, anyone?
My son is my favorite child, he's also my only child, so it's fair!!!
I Believe in Jesus Christ. His Mercy saves me every day.
Everything needs exclamation points!! Everything!!!!
Like my mamma always said. "It is what it is"
...and now I need another diet coke, from McDonald's - & can you make it dirty?

a few facts

why i do what i do

You probably have 100’s or 1000’s of pictures on your phone, in a cloud or on an external hard drive; you have pictures printed and scattered in boxes throughout your house from the pre-digital days. You’ve been collecting photos for decades, and you don’t even know what you have photos of. You’ve never even thought about how much they mean to you, because you can't even think about how much they would be worth if your loved ones wasn't here.

And then one day, everything changes. One day, your whole world is flipped upside down. One day, you lose your mother to cancer, your family is broken apart by divorce, you lose two nephews at birth, or your sister-in-law dies suddenly. And on that day, you are frantically searching through every photo you have, struggling to come up with ONE good photo to use in their obituary or just trying to remember every moment you had with your loved one. On that day, you understand how much EVERY photos is worth.

One day the photos you have might be the only evidence that your loved one lived. Every photo you have will remind you of a time when they were with you, a time when you never could have imagined that they would be gone. And on that day, your family pictures might just be worth everything.  Like this one is to me.

about me!!!

a little more about me

I never knew I wanted to be a photographer until I became one, it’s a rare thing to see me without a camera in my hand and anyone who knows me, knows that I'll take photos whenever & wherever I am - so if we happen to be together you’ve been forewarned.  The joy that fills my heart from the connections I have made through the lens of my camera, have turned this hobby of mine into my dream job.

I'm the mom of a funny, sassy, sarcastic boy who is becoming quite a "young" adult. I LOVE connecting with families and working with kids, they are my favorite.  I love to capture their curiosity, their little smirks and their fun personalities. I love to show them what I'm doing, and looking at the back of my camera is a favorite for most kids. At your session, I will "work my magic" and you can relax and enjoy making family memories. I'll bring little treats, make monkey noises, dance, tell jokes, or act like a crazy person if it helps get your little ones to smile.  I will do all the hard work, while you enjoy your family session and leave the stress to me.  At these sessions, I am often times reminded of my own family. I'm the oldest of 7 (5 brothers and 1 sister) and I have 24 nieces and nephews, two who watch over me from heaven. You can ask them all, I'm their favorite aunt!!
